Laura Bennetts, PT, MS, Owner
Laura Bennetts is founder and owner of Lawrence Therapy Services and Baldwin Therapy Services. Laura received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1982, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. Laura is a founding member of Lawrence Partners in Aging (LAPA), Co-chair of Douglas County Coalition on Aging, member of Lawrence Medical Managers, and board member of the Gray Panthers of Kansas & Western Missouri.
Laura has worked as a senior physical therapist in the areas of orthopedics, neurological rehab, women's health, and geriatrics. Laura has advanced training in musculoskeletal evaluation, foot biomechanics, myofascial release, lymphedema treatment, incontinence management, geriatric neurology, and Anodyne Therapy. Laura writes a monthly health column in the Kaw Valley Senior Monthly newspaper.
Dorian Logan, DPT
Dorian received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas in 2008. Dorian specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, balance and fall prevention, chronic and acute pain problems, stroke and other neurological conditions, and children with gross motor or developmental delays.
Dorian began working with Lawrence Therapy Services in 2008.
Evonne Cooper, PT
Evonne received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas in 1972. She began working with Lawrence Therapy Services in 2001.
Evonne specializes in helping adults with muscle weakness, mobility, balance, or pain problems to help them regain their independent lifestyle. Evonne also specializes in treating people with osteoporosis, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and total joint replacements.
Diane Bell, PT
Diane received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas in 1976. She began working with Lawrence Therapy Services in 2005.
Diane has advanced training in treating back and neck injuries, sports injuries, orthopedic rehabilitation, joint mobilization, trigger point therapy and craniosacral therapy. She is part of the Lawrence Therapy Services Workers' Compensation Rehabilitation team and specializes in onsite ergonomic job analysis and Functional Capacity Evaluations.
Erinn Golick, DPT
Erinn received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2001. She began working with Lawrence Therapy Services in 2006. Erinn is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Erinn specializes in treating orthopedic and sports injuries, chronic and acute pain problems, children with developmental delays, and seniors in-home with mobility or balance problems.
Traci VandeWeerd, PTA
Traci received an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant from Lake Area Tech Institute in Watertown, South Dakota in 2004. She began working with Lawrence Therapy Services in 2006 and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Traci specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics and postural restoration.
Trisha Brabender, PT, MS
Trisha Brabender received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1993 and a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1989 from the University of Kansas. She began working with Lawrence Therapy Services in 2008.
Trisha specializes in geriatrics, specifically gait and balance issues, osteoporosis management and fracture prevention, orthopedic injuries, and acute and chronic pain issues. Trisha also has extensive training in utilizing yoga as therapeutic exercise and in adapting yoga therapeutics for the older adult.
Rachel Robare, PTA
Rachel Robare PTA, physical therapist assistant, graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 2009. She joined the staff of Lawrence Therapy Services in 2010.
