Our experienced therapists work closely with kids and their families to provide needed therapies to help them develop and grow new skills. Working as a team with families and kids, our therapists are an important part of helping kids succeed in life. We accept most major insurances and will verify benefits before therapy begins. We treat children with a variety of problems and diagnoses including: Autism, Asperger's, Developmental Delay, Language Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Fine Motor Problems, Brain Injury, Gross Motor Delay, Sensory Motor Integration Problems, Wheel Chair Positioning Needs, and ADD/ADHD. Dorian Logan, DPT Dorian received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas in 2008. Dorian specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, balance and fall prevention, chronic and acute pain problems, stroke and other neurological conditions, and children with gross motor or developmental delays. Dorian began working with Lawrence Therapy Services in 2008. Megan Roelofs OTR/L, MOT Megan received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Kansas in 2011. She earned a degree in Industrial Design from University of Kansas. Megan specializes in home redesign and modification to improve accessibility and safety. She is a member of both the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association. Megan specializes in neurological problems, pediatric rehabilitation, sensory processing, memory and cognitive changes in seniors, and adapting the home environment to promote safety and function. Meredith Alder Meredith received a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Idaho State University in 2010, and a Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech Language Sciences in 2007 from University of Northern Colorado. She began working with Lawrence Therapy Services in 2011. Meredith treats both children and adults for speech, language, communication and swallowing problems. Karen Ely PT MS Karen earned a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas in 1993. Karen specializes in treatment of children, adults with neurological problems, orthopedic injuries, joint injuries, neck/back pain, and walking/balance problems. Karen has been treating children locally since 1997 and in the Kansas City area since 1993. Karen joined Lawrence Therapy Services in 2012.
